    The plate, the …
The plate, the plates!!! The triangle one is a salsa plate, there is supposed to be a matching bowl that fits into the center then the plate is loaded with tortilla chips. He’s serving steaks on a sushi plate. My god, this man could make a bundle trading them in for recycle at the manufacturer.

    Sorry friend, but …
Sorry friend, but from the sound of it, your food sounds silly. I’m not saying Gordon was right or not, but I don’t think you necessarily were either…if your business wasn’t in a dire state, why did you call Gordon Ramsay in the first place…?

  14. campaignforrealgravyon 09 Feb 2009 at 8:46 pm

    no I’m not saying …
no I’m not saying Gordon was wrong I’m just saying our local customers prior to Gordon didn’t like the changes and stayed away.
Which would you drive 25 miles for
“The famous award winning Burt’s of Lancaster hand made berland sausage ring with Ashcrofts freshly picked King Edward potatoes”
    or
“Sausage and mash” same food just different way of describing it. people felt the old way more appertising.
This is a farming communit, people liked to see their friends mentioned on the menu.

    regarding your …
regarding your comment “before we have run out of ” that night we were running the old menu and the new Gordons menu, most of the customers choose the old one hence we were running out very quickly. Problem being everyone was taking orders so no one knew what others had sold.

    yes we worked 120 …
yes we worked 120 hours but we did have £400,000 of customers,( hardly no customers) most of which didn’t like Gordons changes. In the 4 weeks after filming we dropped £700 in first week £1400 in 2nd £2100 in 3rd and £3000 in the 4th if we’d carried on at that rate we would have been bust before the show went on air. Total loss of customers within a 30 mile radius of us in the year after the show was £250,000 although we did pick up another £350,000

I would like to get his little tongue when its poking out and sprinkle some lovely acid on it and give him a ride on the magic rainbow on the back of a 20ft unicorn. He would love it, naughty old man.

    “The tile glue …
“The tile glue didn’t stick” – lololol

1:44 looks like it’s from the spaceship Discovery.

That stockpot contains starter about four hundred years old. That same soup dates back to when Marco Pierre White was a small child.

3:19 – that poor man looks about to cry

“Stop hoarding crap!” – get with the programme, Brian! What an amazing workhorse – even Gordon never worked that much in a week.

    6:38 – Brian needs a night out…at a rave party

pick your meal — and pick your plate, too!
