    I’ve heard some …
I’ve heard some mixed reviiews on the book previously. Some people found the way it was written really abrasive. I think it may be a bit, but it somewhat feels like the point. Cut out the bullshit approach. I’d really love to read it. I’ve become really apprehensive with reading health books because every joe on earth has a different approach and to be honest its hard to trust anyone or anything written anymore. There are books out there that swear up and down raw meat is where its at.

i love that book, i haven’t read the WHOLE thing yet though. Just the beginning parts. I will say that since reading about the milk part, my family has not drank skim milk since. We are now 100% soy milk.

I read it 7 months ago and it changed my life. I am not a vegan or vegetarian but i gained so much info out of the book. 20 pounds down! (without depervation). Healthy eating thats all

I plan on buying it …
I plan on buying it. It’s sounds motivating in a pushy kind of way, and that’s what women like me need.
    Thanks for reviewing this book!

    My friends have the …
My friends have the book and told me about it:) The whole vegetarian thing isn’t my thing either! That’s why I haven’t gotten the book. I think you’d like “The Flat Belly Diet”
It’s amazing. Tells you the kind of fats you should be eating to get rid of your stomach fat (which can be dangerous if you have too much of it) 🙂

    Freakin’ …

    i left the same …
i left the same exact way when i came to the “no meat” section. i almost felt bad knowing i will never be a full blown vegetarian. (even though i am NOT a big meat eater). but i did not like how much they pushed the issue about meat. i’m glad to see someone else left the same about that section.

I don’t know. I don’t find anything specifically spectacular about the novel. What you read I learned online.

If u find Meat hard …
If u find Meat hard 2 give up and need a shock value that will keep u vege – watch a documentry called: Earthlings. Warning this documentry is not 4 the faint hearted and if u care what happens 2 farm animals do not watch it. But what an eye opening documentry it is, i couldnt go 5 minutes into it before i start crying. It was a wake up for me when i kept telling myself i didnt like meat – now i know why i dont like meat. But thats just me and this is just a tip for those who feel the same as me

    I like how after …
I like how after about 3 weeks of not eating meat – how much lighter you feel. And i just think its because of how long meat takes to go through your system. One thing is that girls need to eat meat for their iron levels, So important for us. So i find lighter weight meats (usually white meat) like chicken / fish feels so much better in your stomach than a pork chop ever will – but ofcourse their is little / no iron in these meats o__O aha.. hard being a girl sometimes. 😀

    I could never see …
I could never see myself a vegetarian either, but I find I’m eating less meat than I used to. (perhaps half as much)

  20. singdomisoon 09 Feb 2009 at 8:46 pm

    I’m glad you …
I’m glad you reviewed this book because I thought it was ONLY about how you need to be vegetarian and how gross meat is. Now, I might just decide to read it and skip over that chapter you said was gross because I really don’t need to hear that stuff, you know? Thanks!
